Agriculture & Farm Website Design
Agriculture in Eastern North Carolina runs on relationships that go back generations, and the website has to earn its place in that. We designed and built the new Harveys Fertilizer site, product index, locations map, and all, and we've designed identities for farms and application companies across the region. If your customers are growers, we already speak the language. Start below.
The Receipts
Built for the businesses that feed the region.
A grower looking for a label, a location, or a phone number is usually standing in a field when he searches. The site has to answer fast. That’s the standard we built Harveys Fertilizer to, with 51 products and their documentation in a searchable index, every one of 31 locations on its own page, and a custom map covering three states.
The identity work runs on the same principle. The logos we designed for Herring Farms, GWK Applications, and On The Fly AgriWorks were drawn to hold up where agriculture actually puts a mark: a truck door, a seed bag, a sign at the end of a farm road, and a cap.

How We Solve It
What we actually build for agriculture.

Every product, one click from the home page
Harveys carries 51 products across seven categories, each with a label and often a technical sheet. We built a searchable index laid out like a seed catalog, with categories that expand and collapse, so a grower finds the right soybean variety and its documentation without a phone call. New products go in from the editor.
Every location gets its own page
A supplier with 31 branches needs 31 pages, each written for its community, plus one map that shows all of them. For Harveys we drew a custom vector map of the Southeast, pinned every location across North Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia, and gave each branch a page with local hours, contact details, and the services that matter there.
A mark that works on a truck door
Herring Farms, GWK Applications, and On The Fly AgriWorks each came to us for a logo, and each got an identity designed for the places agriculture puts it: equipment, apparel, signage, and print, with the website slot ready whenever they want it. Heavy enough line weight to read from the road, simple enough to stitch on a cap.
The site keeps up with the season
Agriculture changes by the year: new varieties, new locations, a division that grows. Harveys runs on a custom component kit built so their team can add products, pages, and locations from the editor, with our hosting and maintenance plan behind it for the long run.
Our packages start at $3,500. A farm or single-location business usually lands in the Essentials or Growth range. A multi-location supplier with a product catalog, like Harveys, is a Growth or Pinnacle project depending on how much custom development the catalog and locations need. Every site is designed from scratch.
Yes. Before anything changes we inventory every page and URL the current site has, keep the ones earning traffic, and redirect the rest properly. Harveys had years of product pages and division pages in Google's index, and every one of them was mapped before the new site went live.
That's exactly what the Harveys product index is. Each product links to its label PDF and, where one exists, its technical sheet, all searchable and grouped by category. It runs inside the editor, so adding a product is a form, and the whole thing works on a phone in the field.
Yes. Herring Farms is a family farm. Most of Eastern North Carolina's agriculture is family operations, custom applicators, and independent suppliers, and our packages are priced for them. If you sell to other people, you need to look like a business they can trust, whether that's a logo on the truck today or a full website next year.
Yes. Hosting, security, updates, and changes are all on us through an annual care plan with a set number of development hours each month. Harveys is on that plan. You farm, we keep the site current.
Because agriculture websites have specific jobs: put a label in front of a grower, show which branch is closest, hold decades of history without turning into a museum, and keep a Grower360 or dealer login one click away. We've built for a heritage supplier and designed identities for farms and applicators, so the first draft already knows what a tech sheet is. See the rest of our industry work for how that plays out elsewhere.
We're in Eastern North Carolina and most of our agriculture clients are here, which means we know the crops, the seasons, and the towns. The process works just as well by phone and screen share, and we take on farms and suppliers anywhere in the country.
Where we work
Eastern North Carolina's agriculture web designer
Tobacco, sweet potatoes, soybeans, cotton, and peanuts come out of the counties around Kinston, Goldsboro, Wilson, Rocky Mount, and Greenville, and so do our clients. We’re based in Kinston, the same town as Harveys Fertilizer, and we build for the farms, suppliers, and applicators across the coastal plain. When the work calls for it, we serve agriculture businesses nationwide.
